Weddings are beautiful: they remind of happy times of the couple and ourselves. They transport us in time; they help us forget our day-to-day worries; and we enjoy the present moment. Every once in a while there are some weddings that are so stunning they inspire us and take our breath away. This chic, romantic wedding (at one of our favorite venues) in Malibu at Calamigos Ranch is one of those. Stephanie and Eric held a fall wedding that would turn heads.
Stephanie and Eric were an incredibly sweet couple to work with and they were surrounded by friends and family to celebrate their love. Eric’s birthday was even days before the wedding. Marrying the love of your life is the best birthday gift of all!
Stephanie and Eric designed the wedding of their dreams. With a wonderful planner, With A Flair Events, at their side they created beautiful moments. Thanks to other vendors, too, such as their florist, The Little Branch, that helped execute their vision. They crafted Stephanie’s romantic bouquet, adorable boutonnieres, reception flowers, and dressed the arch with ceremony florals, in addition to a well-adorned pooch.
The couple reached out more than a year in advance to rent one of our settees for their sweetheart table. The most important seat in the house: our Lisa Shabby Chic Settee paired perfectly well the organic architecture of the Oak Room along with the romantic, rustic feel. The peaches and blues balanced nicely with its off-white upholstery. Rustic tables by Circa Rentals and mismatched vintage tabletop wares by Otis & Pearl further highlighted the couples’ color palette. Their beautiful cake designed by Shirin Bakery sat adjacent to their sweetheart table.
The couple, as well as guests, danced and laughed by entertainment provided by Vox DJs, and enjoyed every minute of the wedding from pre-ceremony to post-reception! Congratulations Stephanie & Eric, we wish a lifetime full of love and happiness.
