Gabby + Jason's Romantic Rustic Calamigos Ranch Wedding in Malibu

One thing we know with certainty is: Jason loves Gabby. This perfect pair were the most easy-going couple we think we have worked with to date. To maintain that composure when planning a wedding is nothing short of impressive. Everything about them was a go-with-the-flow attitude, and we think that is why they mesh so well. A little background on this sweet couple: Gabby works in fashion; her sense of style shined through with her wedding gown and beauty choices. She looked gorgeous; no wonder Jason cannot get enough of her. Jason, is a talented videographer, which you can follow his work here. He shoots gorgeous weddings and connects with his couples to capture their love story, which we knew was important for their wedding.
Gabby’s impeccable taste helped vet the best selections in all categories. Provenance Rentals was fortunate to deliver vintage rentals and design services to complete the couple's vision. Jason’s insider industry knowledge also enabled smooth wedding planning and create an experience everyone would enjoy. Most couples struggle with this: the stress; budgeting; and competing interests. Instead, they chose to celebrate the process and create a memorable event for friends, family, and each other. They had a fun photobooth by Selfie Booth, which guests always love to take home that photostrip of being carefree and silly. And check out that amazing charcuterie bar. You will be drooling through the screen like we were. Let's not forget the dessert table covered in scrumptious cupcakes from Frost It Cakery--yum! And that groom's cake! How could you not obsess over the craftsmanship of the Game of Thrones cake? Talk about true artistry. Our unique, vintage European bar cart displayed those beautiful cakes as well as gorgeous blooms by Florals & Events.
Calamigos Ranch, a Malibu venue, boasts features like sweeping trees, outdoor chandeliers, farm animals, and a whimsical carousel. These are just some of the romantic features that we wanted to share. Gabby and Jason chose nature as their central theme. Rustic elements such as our handmade escort card display, a new addition to the Provenance Rentals' collection, and greenery garland highlighted this charming touch. Let's not forget the impressive framing architecture of the Oak Room. It narrows in on our farmhouse hand-crank table sweetheart table and our velvet mint green tufted settee from the 1950's. These are some of Provenance Rentals' favorite pieces. Gabby and Jason made their reception extra special with all these considerations for their guests' experience in mind.
We would be remiss to not talk about the gorgeous outdoor ceremony. String musicians eloquently played music as the wedding party walked down the aisle. We cherish moments when the bride and her father are arm in arm as he is about to give her away to her soon-to-be husband. Florals & Events designed and created all of the greenery garlands and arrangements, and added lavish florals to the grand arch before the waterfall. Additionally, lots of gold accents like our geometric card box and shiny gold lanterns created a romantic, moody vibe. It was a beautiful wedding, filled with lots of details, dancing, fun, and most importantly, lasting memories for their friends, family, and each other.
