Hannah & Spenser's South Coast Botanic Garden Wedding

South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes is a hidden gem in Los Angeles. Created on reclaimed land, it is living proof we can make something beautiful and improve the landscape. They offer over 200,000 plants and a space for lectures, events, and of course weddings. Hannah, a talented FX and beauty makeup artist, and Spenser, a producer, chose this captivating venue to tie the knot with the help of their stylish planner Taryn Collins of SoCal Wedding Consultant (by the way, Taryn will be featured on an upcoming TLC show "I Want That Wedding" which airs on TLC June 9th at 9/8c). Spenser, of course, looked handsome and dapper; but Hannah looked out-of-this world stunning with that radiant smile and make-up by Tayla Boz and the bride did her own gorgeous hair for the wedding.
Hannah & Spencer knew this would be the most idyllic setting for a romantic, garden wedding. Flower Allie, of course, created gorgeous centerpieces, but also masterfully tied in one of the existing trees in the garden for their ceremony and check out the stunning bouquet; it will make your jaw drop with the dark and light pinks and the ever-so-popular protea flowers. Their team draped flowing chiffon along with asymmetrical florals for the ceremony. It was beyond breathtaking and Katie Sanders Photography captured their elegant wedding in all these photos.
The reception also matched the beauty of the ceremony. Having just rained earlier in the day, who knew this March wedding would turn out so perfectly? Luckily, a last minute tent saved the wedding in the event more rain was imminent. Instead, the weather cleared up; the sun even shone. We loved that the couple rented some of our most popular items for their sweetheart table. The opted for our comfy, and timeless, tufted mint green settee, our chic farmhouse table along with a hand crank that was once used for table leaves, and our romantic macrame backdrop. We even crafted a brand new wood stand to showcase the beauty of the macrame. It is such a versatile piece; it need not just be a Bohemian theme. Even the romantic garden wedding goes so well with this sublime, ethereal textile.
The couple looked happy and beautiful on their perfect wedding day. Their friends and family celebrated these two while Vox DJs played a fun selection of music to liven up the crowd. The evening was filled with a delicious meal by Critic's Choice Catering, laughter, love, and hope for the future for this sweet couple.
