Summer Family Photos in Time for the Holidays!

As summer draws to a close, we thought it was an ideal time to discuss family on the Provenance Rentals' blog. It is the season when we spend the most time with our children and loved ones before the chaos of the school year ensues. This is when we vacation, camp, play, swim, and relax. As a small business owner, I wanted our families to reminisce the extended sunshine-filled days and those effervescent feelings through portrait sessions. Provenance Rentals teamed up with one of our favorite, and supremely talented, photographers Stephanie Fishbein to create summer mini portrait sessions.
As a wife and mother--family is singularly the most important element in my life. These photos had to evoke a special feeling. The holidays are fast approaching, so we curated pieces from the collection to enhance the family and children's enjoyment and experience. Our hope behind this was to preserve our clients' best memories of Summer 2017. Secondarily, we want our clients to use these photos for holiday cards and showcase them in their lovely homes. As always we were blown away by the immense artistry that Stephanie demonstrated as she flawlessly captured the beauty in the photos she snapped.
We had the pleasure of working with some wonderful families in the South Bay and westside areas of Los Angeles. Our summer mini sessions took place in Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach. For those of you unaware, this gorgeous park is home to a pretty pond surrounded by nature and wildlife. Willow trees perfectly frame the park's landscape while resident geese and white swans pepper the lake in the warm summer breeze. It is tranquil and idyllic for family portraits.
The families perched atop our mint green settee, but we also styled more Bohemian props to create a sense of summertime whimsy. Across the board, the kiddos relished playing in the handmade, all-lace tipi as well as the dream catchers with lace trimmings and vintage doilies. Their squeals of delight and joyous smiles are the ingredients for a magical summer recipe. Stephanie and I loved witnessing the children play and laugh and the parents snuggle and kiss their children. We wanted our clients to walk away with a positive experience and memorable photos of Summer 2017, and we think we accomplished what we set out to do.
