Provenance Rentals' 2019 Year In Review
As 2019 draws to a close we reflect on a year full of accomplishments which we attribute much to our clients helping us achieve our goals. We wouldn’t be as far as we are without the love, support, belief, and patronage of our small business. So much has happened in 2019 and we wanted to take this time to share all our victories that wouldn’t have transpired without customers supporting us and family and friends cheering us on.

NEW SHOWROOM & WAREHOUSE
First, we moved our business which was no small undertaking. We were in a smaller, we work-type space for warehousing. It lacked a critical element: a showroom, and that was one of the most important features we wanted in a new space, aside from more room. We got that when we migrated to Inglewood (though technically still Los Angeles. We are LAX-adjacent.) Our new address is 10412 S. La Cienega Blvd., Inglewood, CA 902304. In March, we signed our new lease, had our sign designed by DL Art Photo sporting our branding colors, logo, and cute icons of what we do and then installed by South Bay Vital Signs telling the world we are open for business! We have since hosted:
· Meetings;
· Workshops;
· Mini-Sessions; and,
· Styled Shoots,
in addition to an abundance of our in-person client meetings. Our new showroom and warehouse has allowed us to better serve our clients with implementing their design and vision and we are more centrally located in Los Angeles, which in a lot of ways brings down the cost of delivery for many of our clients. Contact us to schedule an appointment to see and experience our treasures in person.
EXPANDING OUR RENTAL COLLECTION
Next, because of a bigger space we have expanded our inventory. We have top quality offerings for our clients. Here is a small sample of the new inventory we have added to our collection:
· Hudson Farmhouse Tables (we have in brown and weathered white).
· Peacock Chairs—like Monica, Clover, and Harmony. We also have two more matching ones which are perfect for sweetheart tables that are not yet listed.
· High Quality Pillows, Poufs, and Rugs, and more—like our Gemma Macrame Poufs, Bianca Woven White Pillows, Selah Velvet Grapefruit Throw Pillows, Linnea Pink Hand Knotted Rug, and more.
· More unique pieces to our vintage and specialty rentals collection.
Our selection is one of more most important assets to our business and we strive to only bring you high quality, chic, timeless vintage and specialty treasurers. We want to present fresh looks and ideas with new props and furniture acquisitions all the time.
OUR REACH
One of biggest goals is to not only serve Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties, but places beyond this. We had the opportunity to work with our client purely elizabeth. again, but this time in the iconic San Francisco for the prestigious Create & Cultivate, a conference dedicated to helping women to create and cultivate the career of their dreams. It was honor to be brought up there to craft their beautiful booth again at SVN West. We know there are other vintage and specialty rental companies in San Francisco, but they reached out to us hoping we would say yes. Of course! We also did weddings in Temecula alongside some of our other rental company friends in the business. As a client, just let us know where and we will make it happen, even if it is outside of California. Our team is here to serve you.
PRESS
This year has been the best year yet for press. We worked with some big clientele and as such received exposure in major outlets.
· Our work can be seen in People Magazine and Tia Mowry’s YouTube channel, Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix, for her daughter Ciaro’s Bohemian dream first birthday party.
· We worked on a Roger Vivier party for their Hotel Vivier in Bel Aire. The party was featured in Vogue, InStyle Magazine, and many more reputable publications.
· One of our client’s Grand Budapest Hotel-inspired bridal showers was featured in Mingle Magazine in the Summer 2019 edition.
· We will be featured in the book, You Do You!, by professional coach, Clarissa Castillo, about women shifting careers to their passions later in life. It is slated to be published in January/February 2020. Be sure to reserve a copy!
Not only that, a slew of reputable blogs featured our work in 2019 including:
· Gay Weddings & Marriage Magazine, Winter 2019 Edition;
· Aisle Society; and more.
· We also personally designed a French-inspired styled shoot in summer which is slated to be published in a French wedding blog in August 2020.
· Furthermore, we worked with some amazing clients like JustFab, IKKS Pairs, dRA Clothing, Winston House and ROW DTLA, and one of our biggest wins was CBS for their actors’ portraits like Ashley Tisdale, Rob Corddry, Kyle MacLaclan and many more for the Fall lineup and with the James’ (and by James we mean Le Bron James!) family for portraits.
TYPES OF EVENTS
We don’t just do weddings, but we are always grateful for them. They allow us to create a beautiful romantic dream come true. They also kept us busy from January till end of December. In addition, we also worked on:
· Influencer Events
· Retail Display and Store Openings
· Baby Showers
· Dinner Parties
· Posh Kids’ Parties and First Birthdays
· Holiday Parties
· Branding Events
· Film and Television Productions
· Editorial Photoshoots with High-End Clients

EDUCATION & MENTORSHIP
One of the best parts about running this boutique vintage and specialty rentals company is all that we have learned along the way and we love to give back. Our knowledge is quite specialized and we have done so many different events and maintained many professional relationships with industry pros, we often get asked for help from other vendors and peers. This year we continued to blog for Goodshuffle and also Basic Invite. We even attended BizBash in LA to help our friends at Goodshuffle.
We were approached to mentor a fellow vendor in a different specialty. We love working closely to help other small business owners achieve their goals.
Additionally, we created a Designer of the Month program where we help encourage other designers’ creativity and team-building at our showroom and warehouse. Once a month a new designer plans a mini-styled shoot with our products. This helps designers foster relationships, creates team work, and encourages exploration and support of their ideas and visions.
Finally, we also spoke at events intended to help new entrepreneurs get their start and learn the ropes properly and professionally.
If you are interested in working with us, or having us mentor you, please contact us directly and we can arrange a consultation to get started.
RELATIONSHIPS
On a final note, so much of our business is through relationship-building. We have fostered and maintained relationships with some top vendors, venues, and clients including Hollywood A-listers, stylists and designers, photographers, small and large businesses, event and wedding planners, clothing companies, influencers, couples, beauty artists, florists, calligraphers, and everyday patrons of our business who love beautiful things. We are seen on more preferred vendor lists with other vendors and venues this year than any year yet. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your relationship means so much to us. With you, we grow.
We loved and learned with each event and relationship we cultivated this year. This has been our most successful year yet, and we are really looking forward to seeing what 2020 holds. Please let us know if you would like to visit our showroom, host a workshop, or hire us for your next event, or home staging.
