"Our Love Story" Vintage Shoot
The success of this photoshoot is credited to the tireless efforts and collaboration of several wedding industry professionals. It was evident that talent and expertise were the common themes in this gorgeous vintage shoot. I was extremely lucky Katie Kreations Events approached Provenance Rentals to participate in the styled shoot. Aisha organized the event from start to finish; including cherry-picking from our vintage rental inventory, securing a venue, finding a model, a calligrapher, a baker, hair and makeup artists, catering, florals, wedding gowns, jewelry, and of course an extremely patient and meticulous photographer.
All the details came together on this hot August morning. The beautiful York Manor in Los Angeles graciously allowed us to flex our creative muscles. With tricky outdoor lighting, Vagary Photo Co. captured romantic and stylish images of the bride along with items from the Provenance Rentals' collection. I was ecstatic that I was able to use some new small elements in the shoot that I scored including lace, hardcover books, and a petite oval mirror. Provenance Rentals pieces are uniquely and authentically vintage. Styling these old-world classical props tells a client's story and results in polished photographs. It also brings me endless joy.
In addition to the recent finds photographed, I also used our Bronwyn Arm Chair, the Sawyer Wooden Ladder, Amy Novels, Jane Classic Novels, Oria Gold Flatware, Alicia Cake Stand, Lucinda Open Picture Frames, and last but not least one of our most popular items: the Woodstock Typewriter.
