Amanda + Jose's Malibu Wedding

Let us introduce you one of the sweetest, loving, and most fun couples Provenance Rentals has encountered: Amanda + Jose. They reside in Las Vegas, but ventured to Malibu to host their dream wedding. One word about this couple that resonates with us is family. It is what we kept returning to when we composed this blog post about them. Both Amanda and Jose clearly value their families as they were central to their wedding day. Amanda's mother was her wedding planner, her stepfather their officiant, and Jose's beautiful parents escorted him down the aisle. Their friends were equally as important and are part of their family. Their wedding wasn't just a party, but the merger of two families into one. We always want to know more of our couples' unique love stories. Amanda told us how she and Jose first met: they were each other's first crush in sixth grade in performing arts school. Can't you just tell by the artistry of their wedding design? Our hearts skipped a beat. If that isn't endearing and romantic, we don't know what is. We asked them why California for their wedding? They have strong ties: they share fond memories of friends, family, and their blossoming relationship. California was the obvious choice: the two spent their formative years as a young couple in Pasadena. They will forever hold it near and dear to their hearts and is a symbol of their relationship.

We loved their personal choices for their ceremony and reception. Amanda's loving father walked her down the aisle--a dream for them both; her stepfather officiated, the best person suited for the role as he understood their relationship so well; and her lovely mother, Desiree, helped plan with thoughtful detail. For Jose, his parents strolled down the aisle arm in arm with him. The strong embrace Jose and his father shared at the end warmed our hearts. Jose and Amanda evidently have incredible families. We also loved the personal touches in the reception with the candle inscribed with their names and wedding date, as well as their adorable wedding vows stationery. And our favorite part, a groom so in love with his bride he was emotional upon seeing her and giddy when they tied the knot. Everything about their wedding was intimate.

Their reception was lively and fun. They had an open bar, wooden laser cut-outs as placecards, and gorgeous greenery was atop the tables. We loved that they incorporated our pink velvet Victorian sofa with ornate details and complimentary floral arm chairs for a gorgeous and highly utilized vintage lounge. Our Tiffany blue vintage desk and white vanity were dessert tables displaying their wedding cake and yummy cupcakes. We were honored our pieces decorated their special day as these two created their new family and lasting memories. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness Amanda + Jose.
